Toyota Fortuner GR Sport shown at Bangkok Motor Show 2022

Japanese automaker Toyota introduced the new Gazoo Racing (GR) sport edition of the Fortuner at the 2022 Bangkok International Motor Show. For the uninitiated, the Fortuner GR Sport variant is already on sale in the Indonesian market. However, the Legender suffix is not used in the Thai model.

The new Toyota Fortuner GR Sport trim features a sportier front bumper with a restyled fog lamp housing and new 20-inch bronze-finished alloy wheels with red-coloured brake calipers. It also gets a slightly revised rear bumper. The GR badge can be seen on the air dam housing and trunk lid. It comes in a brilliant red shade, which looks great. The SUV is also offered in black and white color schemes.

Inside the cabin, the new Toyota Fortuner GR Sport Edition gets the blacked-out interior like the standard Legender. However, it gets aluminum pedals and GR badging on the seats, steering wheel and push-button start. Contrasting red stitching is added to the upholstery and door panels.

The SUV also gets the Toyota Safety Sense package with features like dynamic radar cruise control, blind spot monitor and red cross traffic alert. These features are not available in the Indian spec model.
