New edition of the Geneva International Motor Show in Doha

Doha / Geneva: The Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS) and Qatar Tourism today announced a partnership at a press conference held at the Doha Exhibition & Convention Center (DECC), to develop and host the whole new Qatar International Motor Show in Doha in 2023..

The partners hinted that the platform is positioning itself as a new world-famous auto show for the Middle East. With great anticipation, exhibitors and fans can now look forward to the upcoming Geneva International Motor Show which will be held February 19-27, 2022, as well as the new format that will take place in Doha in 2023.

This collaboration is seen as a natural fit for a new progressive salon, given that GIMS has been a pioneer in the automotive space since 1905 and has built a solid brand reputation in the sector and Qatar stands out at the global scale through its exceptional experience offering and infrastructure capabilities. In addition, against the backdrop of the future-oriented and glamorous Qatari capital, this show will establish itself as an unmissable event on the calendar for exhibitors and car enthusiasts from all over the world.

The first edition of the Qatar Geneva International Motor Show 2023 is scheduled for fall, and organizers expect the event to take place every two years. While the event has already captured the public’s curiosity, the full concept revelation will only be made at GIMS 2022, which will take place February 19-27, 2022.
