Kincardine O’Neil to host its first Royal Deeside Motor Show

The Royal Deeside Motor Show will offer a plethora of entertainment for children, including two play areas for different age groups. One of the main attractions will certainly be this obstacle course of inflatable trucks.

Sponsored by Lamborghini Edinburgh, the Royal Deeside Motor Show on Saturday July 17 and Sunday July 18 is expected to attract over 1,000 vintage, retro and modern vehicles for a weekend of safe family fun.

Held within the grounds of Kincardine Private Castle, near Kincardine O’Neil, the show is hosted by Aberdeen-based Etiom Events and is a much anticipated new addition to the automotive events calendar.

In addition to the car showcase, the main attractions should be the Offroad 4×4 safari, the shopping stalls and of course the cartie race, welcoming children and adults of all ages to get involved.

The entertainment and events of the Royal Deeside Motor Show will take place around the grounds of Kincardine Castle.

Family fun is brought to life by Big Mack of Bounceabout Castles Aberdeenshire with the North East’s only inflatable truck obstacle course, and entry guarantees you a ticket to the raffle.

Besides Big Mack, there will also be two dedicated areas provided by M & D’s Scotland Theme Park to keep the little ones entertained – one for children under nine and another for those nine and up.

Rides include Dodgems, motor-themed tea cups, bungee trampolines, a Miami Fast and Furious ride, and many more.

The Royal Deeside Motor Show is expected to attract over 1,000 vintage, retro, classic and modern vehicles over the weekend.

“We will provide visitors with a plethora of rides for families and children, as well as a plethora of favorite restaurants, including cotton candy, popcorn, pancakes, hot dogs, burgers and pizzas at log fire to name a few. “

Meanwhile, Royal Deeside Cartie Race and Soap Box Racing promise to be something spectacular – and a lot of fun!

Teams of budding designers, engineers and daring drivers are already busy sparking their imaginations to make plans for their entries in the first Cartie Race of the Scottish Cartie Association’s Royal Deeside Motor Show.

Reaching speeds of up to 40 miles per hour as they hurtle down the Kincardine Castle Road, entrants will be accepted into separate junior and adult races where teams literally put their best foot forward as they run. to success through pinch point, chicane and slalom obstacles.

The winners of each section will face off in a hotly contested Grand Final to determine the overall winner.

For those looking to familiarize themselves a little more, the Buchan Off Road Drivers Club will offer visitors a “wheel of time” by creating a unique and adrenaline-filled 4×4 safari experience in the woods around Kincardine Castle (under weather reserve Covid-19 conditions and restrictions).

A selection of carefully selected hobby, auto and auto retailers will be on-site as well as over 30 local food producers also on hand to whip up mouth-watering delicacies when it’s time to refuel.

Making the weekend a real family weekend will be a variety of children’s entertainment, including an inflatable transport vehicle, face painting, and a range of children’s rides.

The Royal Deeside Motor Show takes place on Saturday July 17 and Sunday July 18 at Kincardine Castle, open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.

• This is the first time that the Royal Deeside Motor Show will take place, and follows a significant investment in the field by the owner of the castle. Kincardine Castle is a private venue and caters for a range of occasions from private dinners and weddings to signature events and meetings.

• Event organizer Etiom was founded in 2016 by Gavin Esslemont, one of the directors of the award-winning Scottish Home Show, Trades Awards, Scottish Kids Show and Topsides UK. It has grown to establish several annual events across the north of Scotland.
