Classic car show for Yankalilla | The temperature

A FIRST: A 48 Custom Classic, which will be exhibited for the first time in South Australia at the Yankalilla Lions Club Classic Motor Show.

After several months of deliberation, the Yankalilla Lions Club will organize a special event.

The Classic Motor Show will take place on Sunday, November 21 at Yankalilla Showgrounds from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is $5 per person with children under 15 free.

The event received great support from car clubs and trade exhibitors. Shannon’s and Quality Motor Trimming are major sponsors.

Over 100 classic cars of various makes and models will be on display. Other attractions for the day will be 16 vendor sites offering food and drink, clothing, crafts, automotive merchandising and children’s entertainment.

Visitors are encouraged to wear pre-1991 clothing, with judges awarding prizes to the top three.

A parking facility is available near the Ampol Roadhouse and COVID-19 regulations will be in place.

Lions members and attendees look forward to visitors having a great day.

All proceeds from the day support Yankalilla and District Lions community projects.

ABC presenter Peter Goers is the show’s godfather.

A highlight will be the appearance of a 48 Custom Classic, which will be on display for the first time in South Australia.
