Car enthusiasts are encouraged to reserve their place at the Lulworth Castle Motor Show

DORSET Blind Association is encouraging car enthusiasts to book their space for the organization’s return motor show at Lulworth Castle.

The ever-popular event returns in September for the first time since 2019 after a pandemic-enforced hiatus.

Owners of classic, sports and supercars are invited to join the event which kicks off with a 20-mile Dorset Tour: where car enthusiasts will hit the roads of Lulworth at 10.30am to tour the local countryside before returning to the castle grounds in the majestic surroundings.

The event will take place on September 18 and is free to the general public from 11 a.m. and features a day of family fun including live entertainment, food stalls, a beer tent and local craft stalls.

A spokesperson for the Dorset Blind Association said: ‘By supporting this event you will not only be having a fantastic day, but you will be helping visually impaired people in Dorset to reduce loneliness and isolation through the services that the Dorset Blind Association can continue to offer. ”

For those bringing a vehicle and wishing to be part of the Dorset Tour and Showground Exhibit, the cost is £12 per person. This includes entry and tour information, display on the show grounds, breakfast and hot drink at registration, and exclusive entry to Lulworth Castle.
