Berkshire Motor Show at Prospect Park – in pictures

FAMILIES had a great day at a special car show in Reading.

The Berkshire Motor Show, which took place in Prospect Park on Sunday July 3, hosted car clubs, bike clubs, trucks and more to raise vital funds for charity.

This year the show raised funds for the rehabilitation of Flint House Police in Goring.

The show has previously supported other charities, including Bucket List Wishes, Medical Detection Dogs, Help for Heroes, Starlight, Launchpad, Cancer Research, Lung Foundation, and more.

The Berkshire Car Show ran from 10:15 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and offered plenty of entertainment, including funfair rides, for families to enjoy.

The event also held a dog show which includes categories for best child handler, best condition, best looking dog, best trick and others.

Organizer Steph Awbery has received numerous awards for her commitment to the community and charities

She won a Community Champion Award in 2014 for her outstanding service to the RG7 community.

She said the event was a “fantastic” day.

“It was a lot busier than before, thousands of people showed up,” she said.

“I want to thank everyone for having a booth that day and supporting the event.”
